How Important are Goals For You
How bad do you really want it? This is a fact – every day has a set number of minutes. How you spend each moment determines if or if do not you achieve your goals. You deserve it to yourself. To speed up completion and not sit around.
Sit there and think about that for a minute.
If you are focusing 1/2 of your time on things that are not in line with your goal. Then it will be taking you twice as long to achieve your goal.
Then it just slows you down. What you view in the future is about momentum. It’s like a spaceship. It is feed to speed and gain traction. Scientists said it would take days to get to the moon, The Apollo missions the trip was about 3-days. A satellite passed it in 8 hours recently
Because goals are continually fed on momentum.
Realistically the faster you gain traction to achieve your goal, the quicker you will achieve your goal and the better chance of completing it.
We often hear about excuses of the phone, a video you must watch, that webinar, TV program, and realistically are they that important. Think of where you will be in a week if you continually start and stop what you’re doing. Are your goals not more important?
The problem of Interruptions:
Would it not be better to stop the interruptions? I remember listening to a person who has become successful. It was about just turning off life for 4 days and doing whatever it takes to complete the project. It was done and 12 hours later the first commissions were coming in. What if they stopped every hour for 10 minutes. Not only have you lost momentum you also have to rethink. Where were you?
You must take time to think. What is more important when working on a goal.
Don’t allow the email, the message, the text, FB sounds stop you to check what is going on. Chances are it will still be there later on. Manage your time to set a period to check and answer messages. It is your future in your hands.
If you decided to stop and check this and that your goals are further from completion. In the above case what if you missed out on something unique? Imagine, if it takes 8-days to complete what you should have done in 4. What customers you have missed out on and if one could be your big break and be a big customer/client?
I suppose you have to think much later in life. How cool it was to answer millions of emails. Watched god how many videos etc. When in fact if you put it in place now. What difference you would have made to people around you. Imagine your time wasting is losing your work and giving away clients to someone else who they see is consistent and upfront with what they do.
With the technology you have today it is possible to have beeps and alarms for different things. Like family etc. Just remember generally every message, email you get is not life ending.
Remember you are in a home business operation. You have the freedom of no boss, hours of work, where you work and how you accomplish each day. Therefore work your hours around your kids. You don’t need to work 24/7 on your business, and your kids need you. Create a time plan and stick to it. There is nothing worse than been bothered every now and again. So if you say, we will do XYZ for 3 hours a day with the kids, wife, partner. Then stick to it. Or go back to work and spend 8 hours away from home and another 2 hours driving there and back.
I know what sounds better. And it’s not a job. You still need your work life and your home life. It’s about structuring your time properly.
We all have our variables in life.
Success is your decision. Your working from home or spending all day with the family. What is your choice?
Wouldn’t it be better to spend quality time with your children and quality time with your business?
Remember 8-hours at work, 2-hours travel = 10 hours away from home.
Imagine 5-hours maybe at home working and you already have an extra 5-hours in your day. See what I’m saying? One of your goals is to do less and have financial security
It’s your Why! What is important each day and managing it.
To start with you may spend a lot of time setting up a business. Think forward to what you may end up doing and for how long each day.
Then you with training figure out working part time making a full-time income. Ensure your goals are moving quickly
It is very hard to stop reading the emails, seeing the newsfeed on FB, etc. But, look at successful people. They seem to have a lot of spare time. Don’t they? What time have you lost going for your goals?
We must think of the cost of your future. Why not spend an hour in the morning, checking emails, FB etc. Then doing what you need to do. Then an hour in the evening looking at emails etc.
I find success means something different to each person and you have to figure out whatever your success in life is. How quickly do you want it?
- What do you think?
- Do you not want to retire earlier (less stress)
- How could you change the way you do things
- Could you do more in 2-hours undisturbed (concentrate)
- What are the problems causing delays?
- Do you really need to look at FB etc every few minutes (I don’t)
Think of it. In your 9-5 job, how often are you disturbed, answering phones etc, Imagine if you had an office and shut the door.
This is what it is like at home. The kids go to school, your partner can answer any calls and you just sit there for 2-hours and do what you need. I can guarantee you, you would have done more in those 2-hours that would do all day if disturbed.
Remember yours at home. You are home 10-hours longer than at a job.
Even if you decided to work 8-hours at home. You have 2-hours and even more at home to do as you wish with who you wish
Now sit back a bit and smile think of your goals. You are at work, or just arrived home or reading this in a traffic jam? Imagine if you were home all day today. How you saved 10-hours, saved on Gas, wear and tear on the car and work clothes etc.
Remember 10 hour job days and been paid what the boss thinks our worth and no guarantee of lifetime employment.
Do you want to be in charge of your life, stress, health, home, and financial future?
How important are your dreams your future goals and happiness?
Think not of what if, but how to make a change for the better.
Your choice in your life, each minute, day, month and year, will decide on your future growth
